Enhancements
  • Edit Scenario Improvements

    • Alias steps are introduced in between Given-When-Then (GWT) steps. For more information, see Managing the workflow.
    • Data set is supported for GWT steps.
    • While rearranging the steps or drag-and-drop the steps , edit, delete and save icons are temporarily unavailable.
    • Cancel button is removed from the secondary screen of Edit Scenario Form.
    • You can now enter values in this format <valueDOUBLE_QUOTE> in the Custom Value text box within the Scenario Sequence section. This enhancement ensures that generated Feature Files accurately reflect your input with double quotes.
      Note - This enhancement is also applicable to Follow Me feature.

  • Scraper Improvements 
    The Scraper extension is available in Developer Tools panel. For more information, see Using algoScraper in Developer Tools Panel.

  • Improved XPath Mapping feature
    The look and feel of the X-Path Mapping functionality has been enhanced to improve the user experience. For more information, see XPath Mapping.

  • Improved User Security
    A lock icon is introduced with a tool tip displaying active user name to prevent accidental edits and conflicts in a centralized project while configuring custom actions in the Customize Setting Editor and Customize Framework features.

  • Enhanced Email Functionality
    algoQA generated reports can now be automatically attached to emails. For more information, see How to Automatically Attach the Consolidated Test Results Summary to Emails.

  • De-duplication feature is available for Generated Test Cases

    The deduplication feature allows you to identify and eliminate duplicate or similar test cases within a Feature File. For more information, see De-duplication of Test Cases.

  • Enhanced Project Access Control via Email and Business Units
    As an admin, you can now assign projects to users via email and ensure access is based on selected business units.
