Enhancements
  • UI Improvements 
    The look and feel of the Main Canvas screen is enhanced to improve the user experience. For more information, visit algoshack.com

  • Pricing Page Updates.
    The look and feel of the Pricing page has been enhanced to improve the user experience. For more information, see Pricing page.

  • Introducing Dashboard
    A new dashboard feature has been introduced to provide you with an overview of test case executions within the algoQA platform. The Dashboard displays key trend graphs related to the test execution progress, such as the number of tests executed, their pass, fail, or skip statuses. For more information, see Dashboard.

  • Update on Auto Healing
    The Auto Healing feature is now available for C# Selenium, TestComplete, C# WinAppDriver and Java Appium frameworks. For more information, see Auto Healing.

  • Soft Assertion is introduced when the algoQA scripts are generated using Python Selenium framework.  For more information on Assertions, see Assertions.

  • Edit Scenario Improvements 
    • Alias steps are introduced in between Given-When-Then (GWT) steps. For more information, see Managing the workflow.
    • Data set is supported for GWT steps.
    • While rearranging the steps or drag-and-drop the steps , edit, delete and save icons are temporarily unavailable.

  • Scraper Improvements 
    The Scraper extension now supports multiple XPath expressions for scraped elements For more information, refer to Multiple XPath expression.

  • Improved XPath Mapping feature
    The look and feel of the X-Path Mapping functionality has been enhanced to improve the user experience. For more information, see XPath Mapping.

  • Code Quality Improvements:
    Integration with the Pylint tool enhances code quality by providing insightful feedback and suggestions. For more information, see Perform Code Quality Checks.

  • EULA Integration:

    The introduction of this feature enhances legal compliance and ensures that you are aware of and agree to the terms of the End-User License Agreement before accessing the platform.

  • Enhanced Email Functionality: 
    algoQA generated reports can now be automatically attached to emails. For more information, see How to Automatically Attach Generated Reports to Emails.

  • Updates on Folder Structure and Scripts in TestComplete Framework


    • When configuring custom actions in the Code Editor screen, ensure that you add a folder named  "Utility" to allow XML formats, following the naming convention.
    • If you uncheck the "Customize TestComplete" option, the default TestComplete script will be generated.
    • If you check the "Customize TestComplete" option, the TestComplete script will be displayed for customization.
    • After installing the TestComplete tool, folders are automatically created following the standard folder structure format.
    • When zipping the scripts, make sure to refresh the page to ensure that the changes are properly reflected.
