1. Prerequisite

Make sure you have executed the script in TestComplete and generated customized MS Word report using algoQA via command prompt. If not, refer to the article Execution of algoQA generated Test Scripts in TestComplete and Viewing the Report.

2. Uploading TestComplete Script Data onto Dashboard Database

Perform the following:

  1. algoQA follows a structured folder structure while generating the scripts. After downloading the scripts to your computer, navigate to the algoReport folder and open command prompt by typing 'cmd' in the folder address bar, as shown:
  2. Run the following command in the command prompt:
    algoReport.exe "wordReport" "C:\Users\Hp\Downloads\ScriptGeneration_202405291016\AlgoAFScript_202405291016\Examcard_2024-03-12_23_31_59_240809_report.txt" "dashboard"

    Where "C:\Users\Hp\Downloads\ScriptGeneration_202405291016\AlgoAFScript_202405291016\Examcard_2024-03-12_23_31_59_240809_report.txt" "dashboard" is the File path. Make sure to replace with the actual path.

    Examcard_2024-03-12_23_31_59_240809_report.txt  is the file name with .txt extension.
  3. Press 'Enter' to upload data onto Database of the Dashboard, the following message is displayed, as shown in the screenshot:
  4. To verify whether the data has been uploaded onto the database, login to algoQA and click the profile name on the top-right corner to view the dashboard, as shown:
