- Update on Auto Healing
Auto Healing feature is now available for Desktop automation with C# WinApp Driver framework Scripts.
- Introducing Electron scraper
Electron scraper has been introduced for M-App running in iOS devices.
- Introducing Scroll Page Action
In the Web Automation using the Java Selenium framework, a default action 'Scroll page' is added to the Action list. You can view this action list in the Action List page. To access this page, navigate to the Main Canvas, More drop down list >Action List.
This action helps in scrolling until the desired section is reached. When adding UI elements, you can pass input parameters into Control Value text boxes in the Control List Panel window. To access the Control List Panel, navigate to the Main Canvas > click the Palette icon to expand the screen and then, in the Node Configuration pop-up window, click Edit icon to view the Control List Panel window.
- Introducing Nested Folder Functionality in TestComplete Framework
- While creating custom methods for TestComplete framework, you can now create subfolders under the Utility folder in the code editor screen for better folder structure organization making it easier to manage custom actions.
- To access Code Editor screen, navigate to required Project folder > More Menu > Code Editor screen.
- When configuring custom actions, you can add subfolder custom actions associated with the main custom action in the CustomMethodFileName and CustomMethodStart sections of the Configuration Settings window.
- Auto Test Case Generation Capability Improvements
- Duplicate Scenario Notification - When using the Auto Test Case Generation capability to generate test cases, a pop-up message is displayed to notify users of any duplicate scenario detected as shown:
- To access Auto Test Case Generation capability, navigate to the Main Canvas > click down arrow corresponding to the More > select Auto Test Case Generation.
- Additionally, this capability has been enhanced to improve scenario generation.
- Handling Complex Regex Patterns
Implemented best practice solution for handling complex regex patterns. For more information, refer to the article Handling Complex Regex Patterns in Node Configuration Settings.
- Unlock a Scenario
When editing scenarios, if you happen to switch between browsers, refresh, or close a browser unexpectedly, then the scenario will be locked. You can request administrator assistance or click the lock button to unlock the scenario.
