Enhancements- algoQA Improvements
A new feature called Usage Insights has been introduced, allowing users to track how effectively they use algoQA features through metrics such as product score, custom action usage, BDD scenario count, product automation usage, and overall feature usage, while administrators can view combined and individual user insights, as well as add new users and edit existing user details. Improved algoQA by introducing a confirmation pop-up when the application URL is changed for re-scraping, informing users of the update before proceeding. To know more click here.
- algoScraper Improvements
Enhanced algoScraper to support launching across all web browsers, with added compatibility for virtual machine (VM) environments. To know more click here.
Enhanced algoScraper by adding the ability to hide screenshots after viewing them in the BDD report. To know more click here.
Added a Page Name dropdown field to select an existing page or create a new page name. To know more click here.
- API Automation Improvements
Enhanced API Automation by enabling support for uploading Swagger JSON and YAML files into collections. To know more click here.
Improved handling of special characters by addressing the use of “::” (double colon) in URLs, headers, and request bodies, ensuring it is correctly processed as a literal value instead of being misinterpreted as a pipeline delimiter and split into multiple segments. To know more click here.
When a project is exported and then imported, the sequence of requests is preserved exactly as it was at the time of export, including during script generation. To know more click here.
- Test Design Improvements
Enhanced the Scenario Steps List by adding toggle options to include Pre and Post conditions, along with the ability to edit the Pre-condition name and action for a specific scenario. To know more click here.

Enhanced Test Design by preventing duplicate feature creation when uploading scraped data into an existing project if a feature with the same name already exists, including those generated via the scraper. To know more click here.
- Backup and Restore Enhancement
Auto-backup is enabled by default for all projects and cannot be disabled. During restore, if changes are detected after the last backup, the system creates a revert backup of the current state and enables a Revert option to return the project to its default state. When Revert is clicked, the default-state backup is restored and the revert backup is deleted. Backup and restore data is retained for the last 15 days. To know more click here.

Enhanced the Settings page of algoQA by restructuring the navigation for each settings category, making it easier to access all configurations with an improved and user-friendly interface. To know more click here.
