Enhancements- Custom Action Improvements
When creating a custom action with the same name as an existing default action, the system now displays a warning before proceeding. If the user continues, the custom action replaces the default action across all existing configurations. Additionally, the system prevents the creation of duplicate custom actions by displaying a warning when a custom action is already configured. To know more click here.
- Object Repository Improvements
An enhanced filtering capability is now available, allowing users to filter controls by All Controls, Used Controls, or Unused Controls. Within Used Controls, users can further refine results by selecting Controls Used in Every Case, Controls Used Only in Scenario, Controls Used Only in Custom Methods, or Controls Used in Both Scenario and Custom Methods. Additionally, controls can be filtered by page name using the filter icon next to the page name, with the option to reset the filter when it is no longer required. Users can also quickly copy a control’s key value using the copy icon. Controls used during step merging in the scenario steps list are highlighted in green, and if a custom action associated with a control is deleted from the Custom Action list, the green highlight is automatically removed. - Custom Object Repository Improvements

- Executing Scripts in algoQA
For Web Automation using the Java Selenium, Python Selenium and TypeScript Selenium frameworks, algoQA now allows you to execute generated scripts directly within the platform, run them in Headless or GUI mode, and view detailed execution summaries with logs. To know more click here.
- Smart Report Analysis
Introduced a Failure Analysis view in the dashboard that clearly summarizes failed test cases, organizes them by category, allows detailed failure review, and supports report export. To know more click here.
- Canvas Enhancement – Node Search
Users can now search for nodes using the search field. When a search is performed, only the matching node is displayed, while all other nodes are hidden. Clearing the search restores the view of all nodes. To know more click here.
- Test Scripts Page Improvements
Enhanced the algoQA Test Scripts page to display script details including framework, compilation status, creator, and creation date and time. Added support to compile test scripts directly from the Script Generated Successfully screen. Upon clicking Compile, the Script Editor opens and validates the script for syntax errors. Compilation results are displayed in Compiled Log Details as Build Failure or Build Passed. In case of a failure, users can update the blocking parameters in the path shown in Compiled Log Status and recompile the script. To know more click here.
- Smart Notifications
Smart Notifications keep you informed by alerting you to update auto-healed scripts, inactive projects over 3 months, duplicate alias names, missing Requirement filters while creating a new feature, with all alerts stored for 30 days in the Notifications tab. To know more click here.
