Enhancements
  • algoScraper Improvements
    Enhanced algoScraper and launched version 2.0.0 with an improved, user-friendly UI and easier navigation. To know more click here.
    Enhanced the online recorder in algoScraper to capture screenshots during recording and highlight user actions in blue within the screenshots. To know more click here.
    Added a page name dropdown field for selecting the appropriate page, a new Node Name column in the scraper for improved clarity and structure. To know more click here.

  • API Automation Improvements
    Enhanced API automation with multiple improvements: import multiple collections at once, download and reuse requests, import requests at both collection and request levels, create requests directly using the + icon without a collection, provide payloads in text or JavaScript formats, offer header suggestions for easy content type selection, display full URLs when environment variables are used, and reflect pre-request values in the UI and responses.   • Test Design Improvements
    Introduced the Copy Scenario Steps List feature, enabling users to duplicate an entire set of scenario steps from one Scenario List and seamlessly paste it into another reducing manual effort and improving consistency across scenarios. To know more click here.
    Added Review Status, Comments in Scenario List table and Added Customize Table option in the Scenario List, allowing users to select and display specific columns such as Custom Tag, Created By, Created On, Separate Feature, Review Status, Comments and Folder Structure providing greater flexibility and a more personalized view.     Enhanced the scenario list with advanced filter options next to the search field. Users can now refine results by All, Selected, Unselected, Favorites, Separate Features, Folder Structure, Created By, and Custom Tags, with dynamic lists available for easy selection and filtering.     Enhanced test design by ensuring that when an alias step is edited in a scenario, it is automatically updated wherever it is used. To know more click here.
    Enhanced the “Avoid Data Generation” and “Correct Value In Between” parameters in test step settings to function as expected. To know more click here.

  • Test Scripts Improvements
    Enhanced the Customize Script feature in test scripts. File uploads now support names containing only letters, numbers, and underscores. To know more click here.
    Enhanced test scripts with advanced filtering options. You can now refine results by selecting time ranges such as Today, Last Week, or a Custom range. Additionally, filters are available for language, framework, and the user who generated the scripts. You can also filter based on compilation status, including Compiled, Not Compiled, Failed, Pending, and Passed. To know more click here.

  • Web Automation Improvements
    Introduced a JavaScript Selenium framework to enhance Web automation capabilities. To know more click here.

  • algoQA Improvements
    All sensitive data such as OTPs, passwords (pwd), one-time passwords, security IDs, security keys, secret IDs, and secret keys are encrypted throughout the entire lifecycle. This includes during data capture via the scraper, after the scraped file is uploaded to algoQA, and during script generation. This change may impact projects using customized scripts; to resolve the issue, a logger file must be added to the customized framework this can be obtained from us if needed or copied from a new project where customized scripts will be implemented.   • Custom Log Improvements
    Enhanced custom log messages to avoid duplication messages in the report. Users can now provide log messages in the profiler within the Test Design message field, and after execution it will be displayed as a log message as shown below.
    Without parameter – Only message needs to provide.
    With parameter – Input provided: $inputvalue.
    With parameter and content – Input provided: $inputvalue, Output value: $outputvalue.

  • Python Selenium Script Object Repository Improvements
    In Web Automation using the Python Selenium framework, duplicate XPaths were being created in the object repository multiple times for the same page name. A fix has been implemented to prevent duplicate XPaths from being created.

  • Framework Improvements
    In Web Automation and TypeScript Playwright frameworks, enabled dashboard, smart ordering, and smart report analysis features.
    After upgrading TestComplete to version 15.81.7.7 in Desktop Automation and Python TestComplete frameworks, import issues occurred in algoQA generated scripts, which have now been resolved through a code fix.

  • Hybrid Automation Improvements
    Introduced a Java Selenium Appium framework to enhance Hybrid automation capabilities.
