2.5 Managing the individual script generation folder
1. Overview
This article provides you the details of managing the test scripts generated in our algoQA platform.
2. Managing the Scripts
In the Script Generation page, you can:
- generate the scripts
- reset to default settings
- mark as important
- delete the scripts
- download the scripts
- edit a script
- delete all
- framework update
- update the scripts
2.1 Generating Scripts
To generate scripts, follow the instructions outlined in the Generating and Executing Scripts section.
2.2 Reset to Default Settings
On the Script Generation screen, you can manually reset to default settings by clicking the Reset icon after analyzing the scripts. Once the scripts are generated, the page will automatically reset to default settings.
2.3 Delete All Scripts
In the Main Canvas screen, navigate to the Project folder, click the More Menu (three dots) in the script generation folder and select the option delete all. By default, this option will be disabled. If you need access, contact your administrator. For more information, see Delete script generation files and test generation files all at once.
2.4 Download the Script
To download a script, navigate to the Project folder, click the More Menu (three dots) next to the script generation folder, and select Download.
2.5 Managing the individual script generation folder
After expanding the Main Script Generation Folder, you can perform various actions by clicking the More Menu (three dots) next to each script generation folder:
- Mark the Script as Important
Navigate to the Project folder, expand the Script Generation folder, click the More Menu (three dots) next to a script, and select Mark as Important to highlight the script. - Delete the Script
In the More Menu (three dots), select Delete. A confirmation pop-up will appear, allowing you to click Yes to confirm deletion or No to cancel. - Download the Script
To download the script, click the More Menu (three dots) next to the script generation folder and choose Download. to download your script to the local folder or upload onto cloud. - Edit the Script
In the More Menu (three dots), select Edit Script to modify the content of the script. Either you can download the scripts to your local folder or edit it in Editor screen.
