1. Overview

In the Project Explorer pane, after generating test cases and scripts, you can delete all the files at once from their respective folders.

2. Deleting Multiple Files at Once

Perform the following:

  1. As a user, navigate to the Main Canvas.
  2. In the Project Explorer pane, search for the required project where you choose to delete the test cases and scripts generated at once.
  3. Expand the project folder to view the Test Cases folder and Script Generation folder. Click on the required folder's More Menu option ( icon) to view Delete all' option. By default, this option will be disabled to avoid accidental deletions. When you hover over the 'Delete all' option, you will see the message conveying that you must contact the project admin to obtain the necessary permissions, as shown:


3. Providing Permissions 

To provide permissions as an administrator, perform the following: 

  1. As a admin, click the More Menu ( icon) option to view the Access Settings window.
  2. In this window, select 'Can Delete' option in the 'Multiple File Delete' subsection heading to enable permission to delete multiple files.

  3. Click Close.

4. Verifying as a User

To verify if the 'Delete all' option is enabled, perform the following:

  1. Navigate to the same project as described in Step2.
  2. Click More Menu ( icon) to view the submenu with 'Delete all' option enabled.
  3. You can then delete the selected files from the respective folder.

5. Assigning a Project as an Admin and Providing Permissions

To assign a project, perform the following:

  1. Navigate to the Main Canvas.
  2. Click the More Menu ( icon) to select the 'Assign Project' option from the list of submenu options.
  3. In the Assign Project window, choose the user to whom you wish to assign the project by entering their email ID or the name of the user. Select the checkbox next to the user's email ID to assign the project. 
  4. Click the Plus icon to view the 'Access Settings' window.  In this window, select 'Can Delete' option in the 'Multiple File Delete' subsection heading to enable permission to delete multiple files for the selected user.
  5. Click Close.

5.1 Verifying Permissions 

As an assigned user, you can verify if the 'Delete all' option is enabled or not by following the steps described in Step 4.

5.2 Menu options for Assigned Users

After assigning the project, the user will be able to see a  fewer set of options in the submenu list, as shown:
