1. Overview

This article provides you the details on how a new user can create a project in different ways.

2. Creating a Project

As a new user, you can create a project in the following ways:

1. Using Create Project page
   Perform the following:
   1. Log into algoQA using your credentials. 
   2. Click algoQA to view Create Project Page.
   3. Enter the Project Name, select Automation type and click Create Button.
   4. New Project is created successfully. You will see the Project Name displayed on the upper-right corner of the Main Canvas.
2. Uploading the scraped file.
   Perform the following:
   1.  When you scrape elements using algoScraper tool, which is available as the extension, you can upload the scraped file or drag and drop the scraped file into the Browse Files or drag them here box.
   2. Repeat the steps as described in Using Create Project page section to create a project.
3. Using algoQA button available in the algoScraper extension.
   As a new user, if you are creating a project using algoQA button which is available in algoScraper tool, which is available as the extension, then follow the instructions described in How to create a project using algoScraper extension.
   
   

Note: If there are any applications changes, such as a new button is introduced in a page, then you can re-scrape the elements using algoScraper extension and upload the scraped file using upload option to see automatic placement of nodes in the Main Canvas.
