1. Overview
If you have an existing scraped file and wish to upload it to generate the test cases and scripts.
2. Uploading the Existing Scraped File
Perform the following:
- After logging into algoshack.net, navigate to the Main Canvas.
- Search for the particular project and right-click the project name to select the Upload option.
- In the Upload scraped file pop-up window, Click Upload button to browse for the scraped file in the CSV format. Note that if you wish to replace the configuration file, then you can enable the Reconfiguration button.
- Click Submit to view the node placement in the Main Canvas screen.
- To access the Configuration file, perform the following:
- In the Project Explorer, select the appropriate Project Name> Configuration Folder.
- Configuration folder displays all the uploaded or created CSV files. Each file is segregated using a different naming convention.
You can either create a project using algoQA button or from Create a Project page in the Profiler window.
Following are the scenarios for creating a project or uploading a scraped file from the algoScraper Chrome extension:- Upload a scraped file using downloaded file after scraping the UI elements with the algoScraper extension.
- Create a project using algoQA button form the algoScraper.
- Re-scrape the UI elements if there are application changes and create a project using algoQA button. The re-scraped elements will be reflected in the same node, which is created earlier.
- If you wish to upload any additional workflow to the existing configuration, you can upload the scraped file. For example, if you wish to add an validation check flow for credit card details, then you can upload the scraped file only for this particular configuration.
