1. Login to algoQA Platform

After subscribing, log in to algoQA with the credentials provided by the administrator.

To log in to the algoQA platform, perform the following: 

1. Enter algoshack.com in the browser bar. 
2. Click the Sign in button available in the status bar.
3. Enter your email address and password. Both email and password are mandatory fields.  
   • If either field is left blank, the platform will display a message asking you to enter email and password fields before proceeding. If you enter an incorrect password or email address, then the platform will prompt you to enter the correct email or password by displaying a message as 'Invalid Email or Password'.
   • The Email Address and Password fields are not case-sensitive.
   • To check if your password is correct, click the eye icon in the password textbox. This will allow you to view the entered password. By default, the password is displayed in an encrypted format for security reasons.
4. Click the Log in button.
5. You can also click the Sign in with Microsoft button to log in using Microsoft authentication.
   If you choose to create a new account, then follow the steps described in Kick Start Your Automation Journey.
   Make sure to save the log in details while creating one, so that you can access them from the Manage Passwords link.

1.1 Forgot Password

Perform the following:

1. Click the Forgot Password link in the Log in window to view the password recovery screen. In this screen, enter the registered email address and click the Request OTP button to send the verification code.
   
2. Make sure to enter a valid verification code and click Verify in the following screen. If the code entered is invalid, the platform will display a message saying 'Invalid Code'. After several unsuccessful attempts, even if you enter the correct code, the platform will prevent further verification attempts. You can choose to Resend the OTP to your registered email address by clicking the Resend OTP link.
   Note that the verification code is valid only for five minutes.
   The Reset Password screen appears. In this screen, enter your new password, re-enter your password in the confirm password field. To view your entered password in any of the password fields, click the eye icon.
   
3. Click Submit. 

2. Change Password

Perform the following:

1. Log in with your credentials. Click your profile picture on the bottom-left corner to select the Change Password option. Here you can also view the current version of algoQA.
2. Change Password screen appears. In this screen, enter your current password and new password, then confirm it by re-entering the new password in the Confirm Password field.
   • You cannot change your current password without knowing your current password.
   • To view your entered password in any of the password fields, click the eye icon. By default, the password is displayed in an encrypted format for security purposes.
     
     
3. After entering the password again in the Confirm Password text box, click Submit. If you wish to reset the password fields, then click the Reset button.

Tip: Ensure you follow these password requirements while entering a new password:
      The password must be at least 6 characters long.
      Must contain at least one uppercase letter. For example, A, B and C.
      Must contain at least one lowercase letter. For example, a, b, and c.
      Must include at least one special character For example, @, #, $ and %.
      Spaces are not allowed in the password.
