Adding or Modifying Default Actions

There are three ways to add UI elements default actions:

  • Node Configuration
  • Edit Scenarios 
  • Follow Me

In the Node configuration process:

  1. Navigate to the Main Canvas.
    Note: You can create a new project or use the existing one. In this case, existing project is used.
  2. Open Control List Panel Page and set the default action to required default action. In this case, Verify Text action is used.


Recording a Scenario using FollowMe Feature

Perform the following when recording a scenario using Follow Me feature:

  1. Navigate to the Main Canvas and select the Follow Me feature.
  2. Enter scenario name, outline the steps briefly and click Create to record a scenario.
  3. Create Profile Sequence window appears, in this window, select appropriate feature to view associated UI elements.
  4. You can arrange the UI elements listed in a sequence and add  default action (verify text) as shown in the following image:
  5. Even if you miss to add the action list while arranging the sequence, you can still add it after creating the sequence too.  
    1. Click Edit icon in the Record Scenarios window > Scenario Sequence section >click Edit.
    2. Select the default action associated to the UI element's name and click Save.


Edit Scenarios Functionality

After recording a scenario using Follow Me feature, perform the following:

  1. On the Main Canvas, navigate to More Menu and select Edit Scenarios.
  2. In the Edit Scenario window, select the appropriate line item and click Edit.
  3. Add the action list in the Default Action list and click Tick icon and save the changes as follows:
